World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (or MMORPG for short) that allows millions of players from around the world to play together in an online collaborative virtial world.

The World of Warcraft game is made up of many servers operated by Blizzard Entertainment at co-location facilities around the globe, which are connected to clients who run the game client (which is purchasable at many game and software retailers) on their computers and connect over the internet to immerse themselves in the virtual world created and maintained by Blizzard Entertainment.

The World of Warcraft game, whilst allowing gamers to play using the default interface provided by the game client, also allows customization of the game via AddOns created by dedicated enthusiasts around the world to enhance the game play by customizing the interface in any number of a myriad of ways allowed via the game API (for example Auctioneer, Gatherer and Enchantrix)
